The short version
We collect what you give us so we can arrange a measure and a quote. We pass it to the licensed builder who'd do the work. We don't sell it.
What we collect
When you ring, use the enquiry form or message us, we collect what you choose to share, usually:
- Your name, phone number and email
- Your suburb and whether it's a house or unit
- Details about the room and any photos you send
- For rentals or units, lease dates or strata contact details if you give them
Calls may be logged or recorded so enquiries are routed and followed up properly. At a measure, photos and notes of the room may be taken.
Don't send bank details, card numbers, ID documents or passwords through this website. We'll never ask for them here.
What we use it for
To get back to you, book a measure, prepare a quote and follow up about your renovation.
Who we share it with
This is a referral website. Your enquiry is passed to the licensed builder we work in partnership with, so they can contact you, measure and quote. Once you're dealing with them directly, they handle your information under their own practices.
Where needed, relevant details may also go to:
- A licensed asbestos removalist if testing or removal is required
- Your strata manager, if you ask us to help with approvals
- Government bodies, where the law requires it
We use outside services to run the website, manage enquiries and handle phone calls. They process information for us, only as needed.
How long we keep it
As long as needed for your enquiry and any record-keeping the law requires. After that it's deleted or de-identified.
